The fare for subway rides is not included in the price of your tour. Each subway ride costs $2.75 apiece and may be purchased in one of two ways:

1) In advance of your tour at Metrocard kiosks located in subway station, or on the day of your tour with the assistance of your Tour Sidekick, or;

2) Each subway ride may be purchased by tapping your credit or debit card on the OMNY contactless fare payment system located on every subway turnstile.

Please note: the subway will only be used on Private Tours; our 90-minute Group Tours will be exclusively on-foot.

While almost everything else in New York is big we like to keep each Group Tour small and personal. You can expect no more than 10 - 15 fellow travelers on your Group Tour exploration of New York.

Please dress comfortably! Always keep the weather in mind when preparing for your tour. Most importantly... wear comfortable shoes! While being fashionable is often held in high regard in New York, please remember that your comfort is of the utmost importance and crucial to fully enjoying your journey around the city!

Absolutely! All of our tour experiences can be tailored to be an educational, yet entertaining experience for children.

Our tours go out year-round, rain or shine. We reserve the right to cancel tours in the event of dangerous weather conditions (i.e. extreme heat, blizzards, heavy thunderstorms). Should we cancel your tour for these or other reasons, you will receive a full refund or a credit for a future tour.

Gratuities are not included in the price of your tour, but if you have a great time it is customary to offer a 15% - 20% tip to your Sidekick.
